The deweys pizza Story

Dewey's pizza was born in 2004 with one simple belief: pizza should be bold, creative, and crafted with intention. Founded by pizza enthusiasts who were tired of ordinary pies, we set out to build something different in the heart of Kirkwood, Missouri.

From our first day open, deweys became a gathering place — the kind of neighborhood restaurant where regulars are greeted by name and newcomers leave as fans. Our dough is hand-stretched daily, our sauces are made from scratch, and every topping is sourced with care.

2004

The First Slice

Dewey's pizza opens its doors at 124 N Kirkwood Rd. On opening night, a line of excited neighbors stretched around the block.

2007

Catering Program Launched

By popular demand, Dewey's expands beyond the dining room with a full catering program for events, corporate lunches, and celebrations.

2010

Local Sourcing Commitment

Dewey's formalizes partnerships with Missouri-based farms and dairies, becoming one of the first St. Louis area pizzerias to champion farm-to-table pizza.

2014

10 Year Anniversary

Celebrating a decade in business with a community party, limited-edition anniversary pizzas, and launching the Dewey's loyalty program.

2018

Full Dining Room Renovation

A complete interior refresh — new open kitchen, expanded seating, and a private events space — making Dewey's even more welcoming for families and groups.

2024

20 Years Strong
